Open Assistive is an open, non-profit, assistive technology initiative focused on low-cost, modular mobility and accessibility systems for blind and visually impaired people.

Project Status

This site marks the initial public foundation of the Open Assistive project. Documentation, designs, and prototype specifications are published here for free use by anyone.

Contribute

Open Assistive welcomes collaboration from engineers, makers, researchers, accessibility specialists, and organizations interested in assistive technology.
